Duration: 6 weeks
The D4 bootcamp is designed for individuals who have been admitted to graduate programs at ISU and who are interested in building a career in data science, Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning. You will gain hands-on experience in solving real-world problems using examples from different domains. The bootcamp will be interactive with hands-on practical assignments and projects. The bootcamp will provide the necessary coding background for joining the graduate-level course covering topics in trustworthy data science. The first five weeks of the bootcamp will be online only, while the last week will be in person only. Each week will include about 35 hours of learning per week.
Fee
None, the bootcamp is provided free of charge. It is fully supported by the National Science Foundation Award No. 2152117.
Class Size
The class size is limited to 25 this year. Priority is given to the trainees admitted to the National Research Traineeship on “Dependable Data Driven Discovery” first, then ISU graduate students, and undergraduate students in their junior or senior years.
Certificate of Completion
Certificate of completion of the bootcamp will be granted for participants who pass 80% of the activities.
